Endeavour Hall
Endeavour Hall is the headquarters for 1st Crownhill Scout Group. The building took four years from planning to completion, and was built by professionals with a lot of parental and friends help. It was completed in 1969 for a cost of around £4,500. The building was officially named Endeavour Hall following a group competition. The winner was a Scout called Michael "Wiggy" Bennett.

The official opening ceremony was on Saturday 1st March 1969. The ceremony was performed by the County Commissioner for Devon, Mr Charles Chapman. The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of people and the Cubs & Scouts formed a guard of honour for those attending. The Group purchased the lease from the city council 2-3 years ago and are now totally responsible for its upkeep.
